About Us

If you are here it is because you are interested in the Spanish language, and you are at the right place.

What is your goal with Spanish? What do you want your teacher to be like? What do you want the class to be like? What do you expect?

I am interested in listening to your answers and I am very curious to listen to you. Because listening is the basis of everything.

I am Venezuelan and I have been living in Switzerland since 2008. I studied at the University of Barcelona to become a Spanish teacher and I have the pleasure of teaching since 2014.

I love languages and learning new cultures, I speak German and English and I am learning French.
In fact I tell you a secret, I also go to classes like you, to know what it feels like to be on your side.

I created Spanisch a la Carte as a response to the need to offer a human online school with a close, professional, and you-oriented atmosphere.

My goal is to give you the necessary tools and according to your needs, to empower you, because I am sure that we are all capable of learning when it comes from the heart. You just need to identify the way you learn best and connect with the person who facilitates the process, this is key.

Since 2010, I have been exploring and experimenting with different forms of online learning. I have participated in several online courses and trainings.

All my experience led me to identify that the need for direct, human and live interaction when learning online is one of the main factors to create a better experience than a face-to-face class.

The methodology I use is based on learning, talking, participating, creating and on your commitment. Because I give you the tools but you must practice when I am not there.

Your commitment is vital to start and continue on this path, I accompany and guide you.

I leave you this video to learn a little more.
